What was once Michigan Bankard, is now AAMS (ABN AMRO Merchant Services). They deserve credit for adopting a new rate structure which benefits our members. In addition, MHMRA agreed to take fewer basis points, choosing instead to pass those savings on to members as well. Want proof? Ask Dave Clouse of West Branch. Legislative Protection

MLTA retains the services of a full-time lobbyist in Lansing, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association has a full-time governmental affairs staff in Washington, D.C. They guide the associations and serve as a watchdog on legislative issues and changes in the laws that affect the travel and tourism industry.

Michigan Lodging & Tourism Directory

Members receive a free listing in the printed directory of Michigan lodging properties, over 100,000 distributed annually. This one-of-a-kind guide is distributed by Travel Michigan, Welcome Centers, Rest Stops, Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, member lodging properties, and the MLTA office.
